The Bengala (sparklers) collection was inspired by the memories of a family photo
shooting that (our very own designer) Julia´s uncle made when she was eight years old...
She was dressed up in a pale blue princess costume with golden embroidery, hand
stitched by her grandmother. Julia was also expected to hold a lighting sparkler. When Julia´s father was going to hand it over to her, the sparkler´s fire was already halfway through
the stick and Julia panicked, refusing to hold it! That fun moment was captured forever and
the photo ended up being far more interesting than the original idea for the shooting...
Our Bengala collection reflects the magic of those random moments and the lookbook
shows our scarves standing, just like by magic, on top of the models head, making her look
like a Princess from the Middle Age, like the ones featured in the comic books we used to
read during our childhood..
